Bonjour chers lectrices et lecteurs! Je m’appelle Sofia et ça fait maintenant 20 ans que je vis avec la même réalité; celle d’être une personne amputée, et ce n’est pas si mal .
Je suis née avec la jambe gauche bien moins longue que l’autre, ce qui est le résultat de plusieurs malformations au niveau de mes os. Mon fémur gauche (l’os de la cuisse) est beaucoup plus court que mon droit, il me manque le tibia (un des deux os qui se trouvent en dessous du genou, celui qui fait vraiment mal quand on reçoit un coup, oui celui-là!) et mon péroné (l’autre os de la partie inférieure de la jambe) est légèrement plié et finalement ma hanche gauche n’est pas entièrement formée. Pour faire court (haha, le jeu de mot), ma jambe gauche arrive en tout et pour tout au niveau de mon genou droit, je dois donc porter une prothèse pour pouvoir marcher.
Voilà le côté technique de la chose, j’espère que vous en comprendrai les aspects plus personnels à travers d’autres textes que vous lirez ici, parce qu’être amputée c’est une chose de l’extérieur et ça en est une autre de l’intérieur. Ce que je peux vous promettre, c’est qu’on y trouve du positif des deux perspectives!
